The Old Room of My Dreams

Can I just tell you how completely obsessed I was with this room when I saw it in Teen Vogue however many years ago… I wanted to paint my high school room that exact color! The whole room has a certain Marie Antoinette feel. Don’t you thinkkk?

I especially love the old fashioned fireplace. I wish my room in my apartment had one. We do have lovely old fashioned moldings and radiators though…who knows my room here might become a painting project next semester…

With Boston’s first real snow came my holiday spirit! My roommate and I made Christmas cookies last night. They were just basic sugar cookies, but we got pretty carried away with the decorating. I just loveee frosting. I hope you can spot our lovely dreidel cookie–that’s the half jewish side of me! Hope you’re all looking forward to the holidays!!
